At CyberPolicy, we believe in fostering growth and championing opportunities not just within our company, but our community too. We wanted to do more for the place we call home, so we thought: what could we do to serve the Bay Area? That's when it hit us: partner with the Golden State Warriors (#DubNation 4EVER), an organization that believes in community and the power of goodwill.
For the 2017-18 NBA season, we donated $100 to the Warriors Community Foundation for every blocked shot by the Warriors at home. And did the World Champs come to play! By the end of the season, we donated $33,600 to the foundation as the Warriors led the NBA in blocked shots.
“The Warriors exemplify an organization with a championship mentality - understanding how to do things the right way, said Keith Moore, CyberPolicy CEO. œPart of that is understanding the importance of their local community, and the responsibility and impact they can have on today's youth. We share those same values, especially since we directly serve the 29 million small businesses across the nation that have such a tremendous impact in their local communities.
CyberPolicy CEO Keith Moore and his daughter present the Golden State Warriors with the Foundation's well-deserved $33k donation.
For those unfamiliar with the Warriors charitable giving, the Golden State Warriors Community Foundation provides grants, builds basketball courts, and offers guidance to the Bay Area's underserved youth. In short, the Warriors Foundation provides opportunities to help our leaders of tomorrow get their footing today.
We're very proud to have been part of this season's charitable giving, and will continue to give back to the community and the small businesses across the country that we so dearly love. We would like to say thank you to the 2018 Western Conference Champion Golden State Warriors for giving us the opportunity to give back and wish them the best of luck in their 4th straight NBA Finals!
